Die Buchstaben-Jagd auf Rädern: Wer knackt das ABC-Bingo zuerst? Bei dem Bingospiel bringen wir ein bisschen kreativen Buchstabensalat auf die Rückbank! Wenn die Landschaft draußen vorbeizieht und das „Wann sind wir da?“ leise anklopft, schalten wir einfach um auf die ultimative ANTI-Langeweile für unterwegs: das ABC-Bingo im handlichen Format! Egal ob im Auto, Camper, Zug oder Reisebus – das Spiel peppt jede Familienreise, jede Klassenfahrt und jeden Ausflug auf.
Das Prinzip ist herrlich unkompliziert: Die Vorlage wird in Farbe im A4-Querformat ausgedruckt. Einmal kurz an den gestrichelten Hilfslinien ausschneiden und schon hältst du zwei quadratische Bingo-Karten (13 x 13 cm) in den Händen. Sie wiegen nichts, brauchen keinen Platz und warten im Handschuhfach oder Rucksack geduldig auf ihren großen Einsatz. Die Suche kennt keine Grenzen, denn ihr haltet Ausschau nach Dingen außerhalb des Fensters, die mit den Buchstaben auf eurer Karte beginnen! Entdeckst du ein A wie Auto, ein C wie Campingbus oder ein T wie Tankstelle? Perfekt, Haken dran! Deiner Fantasie sind dabei kaum Grenzen gesetzt. Hauptsache, man kann es draußen wirklich sehen. Jeder Buchstabe gilt natürlich pro Runde nur für einen Begriff, wenn er doppelt vorkommt. Als kleiner, fairer Motivationsschub ist der goldene Pokal in der Mitte euer Gratis-Joker – das Freifeld zählt von Anfang an als gefunden. Wer zuerst fünf Felder in einer Reihe voll hat – egal ob waagerecht, senkrecht oder diagonal -, gewinnt das Match und ruft laut: „BINGO!“
Die Großen dürfen natürlich kräftig mitspielen, im Vorfeld die Buchstaben erklären oder bei kleineren Kindern als Spielleiter fungieren und gemeinsam überlegen, welche lustigen Entdeckungen zu den Buchstaben passen.

The Alphabet Hunt on Wheels: Who Will Be the First to Crack the ABC Bingo?
Time to bring a little alphabet chaos to the back seat! When the scenery starts rolling by and the classic “Are we there yet?” begins making an appearance, it’s time to switch gears and pull out the ultimate boredom-buster for the road: ABC Bingo in a handy travel-sized format!
Whether you’re travelling by car, camper van, train, or coach, this game adds instant fun to family vacations, school trips, and every adventure in between.
Getting started couldn’t be easier. Simply print the template in colour on an A4 sheet in landscape format. Cut along the dotted lines and you’ll have two square bingo cards (13 x 13 cm / 5 x 5 inches) ready to go. They’re lightweight, take up virtually no space, and can happily wait in a glove compartment, backpack, or travel bag until game time arrives.
And here’s the clever part: both cards contain the exact same letters, but they’re arranged completely differently! That makes copying your neighbour’s card much harder and encourages even the family’s most notorious cheaters to play just a little more honestly.
The rules are simple and explained directly on the PDF in both English and German. The challenge is wonderfully open-ended: keep your eyes on the world outside and look for things that start with the letters on your card!
Spot an A for Automobile, a C for Camper, or a T for Truck? Great – check it off! Your imagination is welcome too. As long as you can actually see it outside the window, it counts. If a letter appears more than once on your card, you’ll need to find a different matching word for each space.
To make things a little fairer, the golden trophy in the centre acts as a free space and counts as already found from the very beginning. The first player to complete five spaces in a row – horizontally, vertically, or diagonally – wins the game and proudly shouts:“BINGO!”
Of course, grown-ups are encouraged to join the fun too. Parents can help explain the letters, act as game masters for younger children, or work together with the kids to come up with funny and creative discoveries for each letter.
